I just got this Aqua Pod last night and it is too big for what I want to do with it. It is a 24 gallon with compact lighting. It is brand new. Iwould like to get my monet out of it, so I am needing $200.

I also have a 30 lb bag of sand that I will sale for $25.

I've been shopping those but really wanted the halide version. If no one else grabs it, can I look at it at the meeting?

Cathy

I'm sure when you get to the "unreasonable offers considered" stage you'll have plenty of..........

Hey Kev...I dont know too much about the Aqua Pod's. Does it just come with the PC's? No kind of filtration? What's the wattage
on the PC's?

Includes: Surface skimming filtration system, 1-32W square pin Dual Daylight 10000Ã"šÃ‚°K/6700Ã"šÃ‚°K Daylight bulb, 1-32W square pin Dual Actinic 460nm/420nm Actinic bulb, 2 blue LED lights, cooling fan, mechanical sponge filter, 290 gph submersible pump with flat nozzle.

Kev-I would like to give Cathy (crpeck) a chance to look at it. If she does not want it, I'll take it. I already have a good size piece
of live rock to put in it. I would like to put nothing but zoo's in it.
Tomorrow I leave out for about 3 weeks. So if it is not taken by then, I will take it off your hands. Sound ok to you?

I've looked at the Aquapods and know that I like them. But I use those same current bulbs, only 96 w over my 55 gallon tank. I really like the looks of those lights and you'll love them with zo's. The actinics really make them pop.

If I do get an Aquapod, I'd really like to get a MH version so I can try different things than what I can do in my other tank. So Milkshake, if you want it take it. Sorry this leaves you hanging 3 weeks Kevin.

Thanks, guys

Cathy

Yeah ... I know .... they're twice as high in MH and I've seen the custom version with 150 w. I have the site you linked bookmarked. :)

The PC version is a good buy. That's why I was tempted when Kevin put this up. I need someplace to go with my overgrowth very badly.

For a nano tank, do you have to use a drop in chiller? That's my main concern. My wife is no bigger than a tooth pick so she keeps it kind of warm in the house.

I've not heard of problems with these tanks overheating.... even the MH versions. I think the design is pretty decent and the built in fans are effective. If you do a search on the Aquapods, you will find a lot of people who have them and most of them are happy.

Thanks Cathy...and Kev, consider it a done deal. Sorry for the three week wait. I really want to find a job where I can be home more often if not everyday. Trucking keeps me away from the things I really want to do in life....reefin' and wife. Does not have to be in that order though. hehehe
