Just got a jbj nano cube and was wondering what most people used for filtration? Was considering setting up a refugium in the back chambers or possibly just getting a hang on skimmer and just doing water changes. Any ideas?

well is it a reef (to be) or fish only (to be)? If its fish only, you could just use the bioballs (which i hate) that come with it since the problems they cause dont bother fish, just corals and inverts.

But if you have the SLIGHTEST plan to ever do reef with it, get live rock ONLY as your filtration...at least 24 pounds of it. If you can fit a skimmer on the back that might help, but on a small tank you may not need one...i dont run one on my 40 gallon breeder, but thats cuz it doesnt work and i got no money to buy a new one :)
