If you knew the clown you'd have the answer. If all clowns were like this there wouldn't be the reputation.

So there are 11 fish in this tank:
Coris
Clown trig
Queen angel
Emp angel
Blueface angel
purple tang
8 line wrasse
2 damsels
clarkii and anemone
3 3/8" titan trigger
2 tiger cowries

That will be all that this tank gets, which means all of the fish I will have hopefully for quite a while.

On a side note, that titan has grown from 2.5" to 3 3/8" in about 2 months I think, pretty quick from what I thought it would.

I will have better shots of all of it soon. Finishing up the moving process.....need I say more? The only injury that I can note is the queen angel has a little blood in the bottom of its eye. I guess it was from thrashing around when I caught it out of the old tank. Coris was sluggish when I put it in. It was the first fish in. I had to raise the tank temp and acclimate slow to get the water adjusted. The old tank was much warmer than the new water, 7 degrees worth. But this is also the same fish that when it was flown in from HI it bit the bag and the 1" of water it was barely in was really cold and the shipper said to dump it in w/o acclimating it. I did and it made it. Almost 3 years ago.....in 9 days that is!

great tank! aren't you worried about what to do with the titan in a year or two?

awesome Dan. I know it took alot to get to this point, so props to you for finally getting the big tank. I'll have to come take a look on my next trip north. :D

are you suuuuurrrre about no more fish?? lol... You know they have this beauty little 5" melichthys niger at Aqua Workz right now....

Thanks again guys and gals. Lisa, I'm not sure what to think with the titan. I haven't cared for one larger than about this size, so I don't know. If it becomes the menace at 5" then I'll have to move it.

TTT, I really want to keep a cleaner tank this time around. I'm going to have the better equipment, but also I want a smaller bio load. As is, this seems just about right.

Coris is still under the sand, I'll feel much better to see that big red head pop up....

Dan, the tank looks spectacular and the livestock look even better. Great job.

What species of coris do you have? I have a changling gaimard (about 4.5-5") and he has become my absolute favorite. He didn't get comfortable in the tank for about 3 weeks, but now he's out all the time and he's just an absolute pig. He really adds some great color and personality to my tank.

Keep us updated

Coris is up at out!!! Thanks grouperhead, that is the coris I have....More pics to come!

Chris, I'll call asap!

Awesome Dan, great fish list.

Hope the 2 big Triggers continue to behave. I will tell you a bad story on the Titan....I was at the Seattle Aquarium a few months back. They had about a 10 inch Titan in what had to be a 15,000 gallon or so tank. The volunteer told me it was given to them by a guy that had him in a large FO tank, and after about 6 months the Titan went postal to the point he had to get rid of him or lose every fish.....Keep an eye on him.

Again, beautiful tank

That sucks about that titan......I keep an eye on all of my fish. The only one in limbo now is the undy. It gets a new home next. At my house, not giving it away, but can't put it in the 240 either.

That coris is gorgeous. It must be 12" or so? Mine is still small and mostly red. The black is starting to come through, and all the blue spots are starting to show up on the back third of the body. Awesome fish. :smokin:

Thanks man. I didn't measure it since it is such a skittish fish but it truely was tip tp tip at the bottom of a coralife salt bucket. I wanted to take a pic but couldn't find the camera. My wife 'put it away' in the new house.....! I will go and measure the bucket just for kicks. I'm glad it didn't freak out and die. My octo extreme 300 shows up friday!!!
