240gal Reef treatment plan

I've decided that I need to prepare to treat the fish in my tank for crypto. I've had a low grade infection for nearly 2 years since I picked up a achilles tang. The tank is a 240 with about 400gal total volume but has over 30 fish including 8 angels, 5 tangs, and7 wrasses. I want to treat the fish with CP. I have a "plan" but would like some input.
Objective-
1. pull the fish out and place in ~90gal treatment/quarantine tank,
2. pull coral out and place in 45g frag tank that is connected to sump and fuge
3. Clean main tank and replace existing with new or rinsed sand
4. Treat fish with CP for 30 days and setup main display tank and let is go fallow for 12+ weeks.
5. Reintroduce fish after 30days of CP and 8-10 weeks of quarantine

Concerns:
1. How wrasses to react to CP (I have 3 leopard,2 tamaren, 6 line, and a melenarus wrasse
2. How do I handle for the bio load of 30+ fish for 12+ weeks. What about using a skimmer and a sump filled with bio balls? Canister filter filled with floss as a bio filter.
3. I've thought about using the Dr G's anti parasitic food but concerned it would effect my SPS and mag anenome.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Finrod2,
That is a lot of fish, and large aggressive fish to boot, for a 90g fro 12 weeks. You may have some struggles there, both with bioload and with aggression.
Why are you pulling your corals?

I anticipated needing to remove much of the LR anyway in order to capture the fish. My tank is 60" x 36" so Its a bit of a challenge. Plus my wrasses will dive into the sand and I will never find them.

Makes sense. Sounds like a beautiful tank.

I had to pull everything from my 240 this past spring to treat for ich myself.
I don't have as many fish as you and still had to divide them among different tanks. Water quality was difficult to maintain in a 72 with sump and smallish skimmer when I had 2 tangs, a moorish idol and assorted smaller fish. Frequent large water changes did help.
I also found aggression to be magnified in confined quarters. I don't believe my powder blue and desjardini sailfin would have coexisted together in there. Also had aggression issues with some of the smaller fish that never paid each other any attention in the large tank. As an example a starry blenny killed a yellow watchman goby within an hour of being placed together in smaller tank.
I'm only sharing my experience to give you an idea of what can happen in confined quarters. With the fish you have (multiple tangs and angels) I just see potential for a lot of issues.

I looked at treating with CP as well (ended up running multiple groups through tank transfer instead). In reading up on CP, there were quite a few that experienced death of their wrasses so I would probably not risk them in CP.

reeferstace, The tangs and angels get along OK. I'l actually thinking about upgrading to a 8' tank and doing the treatment when I start setting up.

Regarding the aggression in a QT, I may transfer the fish to a rubbermade trough temporarily. Unload the rock into the new tank, pull the sand out and put the fish back into the 240 with some PVC. DDon, did your Ick come back after the TT method?

It did not come back. Tank and fish are ich free now. All new fish are treated by tank transfer and prazipro followed by 3+ weeks of observation.
