Hey guys! I am still running the 175W MH SE fixture over my tank.
Would a 250W HQI be too much for the 40gal tall tank that I have? I am trying to go with all zoa's, mushrooms, and ricordia's.
UV glass is in HQI fixture.
I am running a 250W HQI on my 29G and it is not too much, but if you are only keeping softies I would save the money and stick with the 175W. The HQIs are more intense and great for SPS, but not needed on a softy tank IMO.
