I have a 28 Bowfront with a Bangaii and Ocellaris and Redbanded Goby. It had a beauttttiful tricolor wrasse but it decided to jump out on me in the middle of the night. As well as a purple firefish which did the same. I am proud to say I have not lost any fish to poor water quality in the marine hobby that ive been in for about 8 months starting with a 6 gallon nanocube. I am looking to add one more fish. I would prefer something active as the wrasse was. Preferably not a jumper, I have learned my lesson. I was thinking pygmy angel/ flame or coral beauty. I know its substantial size for the pygmy, but what about the other two? Also I am worried about the behavior of the angels. Coral wise and aggressiveness. What would you do in my situation. Thanks!!

that tank is too small to house a pygmy, perhaps a cherub angel as they only get about 1.5" long. put a piece of eggcrate over your tank. this usually foils most would be jumpers.

Arent Cherub's and Pygmys considered the same? Well as far as the pygmy or cherub are they model reef citizens? Common to nip? I read they may go on aggression streaks, is this common? Thanks!

The cherub is a member of the pygmy angel family. Pygmy refers to the genus centropyge, which is a group of angel fish that stay under 5". They cherub is relatively small reaching only 1.5-2" where most other pygmy's can be 2-3 larger.
