280g upgrade build

After several cross-country moves, retiring from the Navy, finding a new career in middle-of-nowhere Illinois (actually only about an hour south of Chicago) and another potential cross-country move to AZ that didn't happen, I've decided to get my "tank".
We've had a bunch of tanks since I got back into the hobby, everything from a 12g JBJ Nano to a 125g reef that was running in San Diego. Currently, we're running a 120g reef and in two weeks, my 280g will be delivered. So, this thread is going follow along with the slow grind that's going to be the build from delivery to up and running.

Currently, here's what I have planned:

280g GlassCages Custom - 72"x36"x25"
Custom Sump/ATO reservoir build from Windrider Creations
Synergy 20" Reef Overflow with Beananimal setup
Waveline DC 12000 return pump
Skimz Monster SM203 Skimmer
AI Hydra 52 HD lighting
Maxspect XF180 (if released, otherwise a couple of 150s)
ReefKeeper Archon (eventually...I already have the elite and a lot of modules and they work great for me, so I don't feel a need to switch to the Apex).

So, this should get me at least up and running and my current tank transferred over. This is sure to be fine-tuned and changed, but for now it's what I've got.

I'm looking forward to starting this up and sharing it.

The tank is now two weeks away from delivery and I'm going to have a good bit of work to do before it gets here. Besides getting the stand built, it looks like I'm going to be doing some reinforcing work in the basement so the tank doesn't end up there.

Ibis - I met the owners of GlassCages at MACNA last year and was pretty impressed with their tanks. The prices are good and the shipping was a fraction of what I was expecting to go from TN to IL. I've also been following some builds that used their tanks as well and they looked very well done.
