29 BioCube soon 2b 90 Cube

hi folks my names Jae, and im gettin ready to setup a 90 cube but before i do that i wanted to give some net life to my 29biocube.Shes been up and runnin for 1 year and im still on the fence about completly shuttin her down. I use aquatinics 5bulb t5 a tunze 9002 to skim and a cprbakpak for my fuge in which i carry miricle mudd and chaeto here is a before and after pic and some coral shots

Thanks pal appreciate that I actually put it up on all different sites but I felt like it was only right since it will be broken down in 2 months I have the 90 cycling as we speak

Nice to hear that. I'm cycling my BC29 right now too.
The light from you has been doing fine, it just threw a monkey wrench on my BC29-with-top plan lol

yea that guy says he will do the tops but imo too much at 120 for a screen top

yea i do i have all my chalices at a friends house his system is 600 gal so he has plenty of space as for my upgrade its very much need i wanna wait atleast 2 months before puttin anything in the tank since the rock was completely dead yet the sand was alive and water was established comin out of my buddies 600 gal system

What kind of wrasses are those (look like a mystery and leopard)? And how long have you had them in your tank? I really want to add a wrasse to my BC29 and have been researching/debating which one I want to add.

I had 3 wrasses at one point but the leopard is mean he eventually bullied my carpenters to death so yes its a mystery and a leopard wrasse I've had em for about 6 months now the leopard need sand to burrow in as where the mystery don't here's my livestock I currently house 2 platniums 2 snowcassos 2 yellow chromis 2 wrasses 1 yellow eyed kole tang and 1 red scooter blenny so with that said I definetly need this upgrade

What do you think about the leopard or mystery long term in a BC29? I see some sites recommend 50. I think they are both very beautiful fish, but don't want to keep a fish in a tank that is too small for them.

That is true but it takes awhile for them to get to that size imo if you get them small enough you should be fine for atleast 2years my leopards about half the size of the mystery which is around 3-4" but when gettin these fish keep in mind I had the upgrade already in talks so my goal wasn't to keep em in the biocube if you plan on doin an upgrade wirhin the next year or so I'd go with it if not than enjoy em and sell em
