29 gallon reef

i have a 29 gallon reef and i am wondering if i could put 2 ocellaris clownfish, a firefish,and any type of smaller shrimp goby in there. what do you think?

The pair of clownfish, once sexually mature, may intimidate the firefish. The shrimp goby should be fine.

size wise yes but steve is right as the clowns will usually rule .

If you go with a single clown it may not be as aggressive.

so 1 clown, (what would you put here,instead of the second clown?),a firefish,and a shrimp goby?

I would go ahead and get two clowns--they're more fun to watch, and as iamwrasseman pointed out, they'll still defend their territory anyway.

Or if you want, you could skip the clowns and just get a pair of firefish (LiveAquaria's Diver's Den offers them sometimes) and a shrimp goby (or a pair of shrimp gobies) with commensal shrimp (these are also available on DD)--that would make for a nice, colorful display of peaceful fish.
