29g biocube - to much circulation?

I bought a aqueon circulation pump 500 and I have the stock return pump. My sand keeps getting blown around in the front of the tank, it gets pushed back towards the rear.. Did I place the pump wrong?

I have both pumps aimed up towards the surface and at the front of the tank, the 500 is on the right wall and the stock is in the stock location.

Play around with it a bit. It shouldn't be too much flow. I have an mp10 that I can run at full. At first it moved some sand around but got to the point where it's all okay now (and looks very natural). Unless you have an extremely dsb shouldn't be a problem.

No such thing as too much flow. I am running my MP10 at ~1300gph plus both of my stock 266gph filtration pumps and my sand doesn't blow around.

Agree that you need to move it around to find the right location. Sand in a new tank will also blow around easier, once it establishes there is enough gunk to hold it together better. Sand choice also has a lot to do with it. Oolite or fine sand is obviously more prone to blow around then something coarser like aragonite.
