2nd week of cycling

Hi,have just noticed this morning lots of dark colored patches appearing on sand and a little on glass.wasn't apparent yesterday.have been cycling for about two weeks.i have ever grow it 2060 Led lights on the sunrise / sunset programme. is there any cause for concern? The tank water is rodi, Prodac salt, gravity. 1023. ammonia 0.2 nitrate zero. kh 11drops.

Probably algae. You don't need to run your light during the cycle.

Hi,I thought the algae would only start to grow when the nitrates came,after the ammonia and nitrite stages,

You could have some that is bound up by the algae.
