3/4" plywood

I have tried the search button but with no luck getting through. My question is would 3/4" plywood be strong enough to support a tank. I want to build upper and lower frames out of 2x4s and use plywood for the sides front and back of the stand. Theres is a picture of the tank in my gallery under clamtank. the tank is 26.5 long, 18 deep, and 15 high.

dude my entire stand is made of 3/4 oak ply....no 2x4's of anything like that.....just a plywood box with fancy trimming....

Sweet! Thanks guys. That will give me more room for sump and fuge.

with that design it will be over engineered if anything. 2x4s arent nesescary, though if your not using a frame you need to take care with the joints.

or you can use something smaller like 1x4s.
