the cadlights one is really nice, I would go for that one if you do lps & softies. I would go with the jbj if you do easy care sps (montipora, etc.) It has ocillating flow in it which is really nice and a pretty decent skimmer. Its too bad there are not actinics on the JBJ, thats my one dislike on it.

Thanks for the input Castorpollux. I kinda feel the same way. The Cads guys said they made room for a Remora or Tunze and the refugium with a light is kinda sweet too.

Yeah I did Cardgenius but my one problem with Finnex is that they discontinued the one glass tank they had and the rest are all acrylic and I am pretty leary about those.

i heard a bunch of stories about the finnex being delivered damaged, i read they have great customer service but in all actuality i still think the ones mentioned about are better, I personally am waiting for the new dual 70w hqi 2.7 dx24 at nanotuners, you can buy the little wavemaker on the jbj for $40 online and hook it up to the new korallin wide flows that are coming out sometime next month, so you could still end up having better flow than the jbj and wider halide coverage with 2 18 watt power compact actinics

WOW, almost $700 for the Red Sea. Each one is very nice though. I think I like the JBJ.
Good luck pounding that decision out in your brain.

its a nanotuners custom series, basically a modded biocube, you choose the filtration method whether you choose to get a sapphire skimmer in the back or a refugium w/led lighting, stock top, added fans, moonlamps, its really a nice setup, thats what I am waiting on for my next tank.

Korallin, I think, the model of power heads, I was telling you about are just like the new tunze wide flow nanostreams but FAR cheaper $20-$40 and can be put on a wave maker. they are the same size and are held on by magnets, you could have ocillating wide flow with 360û control. all for about Ã"¦$80 with the jbj 2plug wave maker ($40) not to mention the return pump on the cube.

This is what the hood will look like on the inside, pebbletone reflectors and all, my only qualm is the actinics on it are straight pin and not square, i don't know of any manufacturers that make dual actinic pc's in straight pin...
