Ok i decided to scrap my 10 gallon tank and make it a refugium tank and have a 30 gallon my display tank.
The display tank has a 1,300 gph circulation pump. If i remember a 100-150 maby 200 watt heater i cant find the box in the basement. The protein skimmer i have no idea what it is rated for sense it is 20 years old and dad cant remember that far back.
The refugium has a utility pump rated for a head of 69 in and a max flow of 296 gph.
I used base rock as my decor to hide most of the stuff i need in the tank.
In the refugium i have Live sand Live rock and red mangrove trees.
On the inlet of the refug i have fine nylon bag on it till i have the opportunity to purchase a sock.
For future inhabits im wanting to get
2 clown fish
1-2 fire fish
1 sand sifter goby
5-6 chromis (For School and to also be first inhab)
For the refugium i am possibly thinking of putting in a couple of clams and a hermit crab or 2. What do you think about this idea for the refug.
Any ideas would be great on improvement or inhabitants of the tank.
Also soon im going to get some PVC tubing to make a emergency overflow in case this one fail.
