30 inch cube plumbing

Hello after much thought I thing i have settled on a 30 inch cube!!!! I have spoken to image aquariums and have an estimate on the way.

The question is that currently I am thinking of doing a braceless cube made of 3/4 inch glass. Chris at image A suggested this as it wouldn't be that much more $ and the look is amazing! However I wouldn't want a canopy with such a tank which means that all the plumbing above the tank is going to be clearly visable. Does any one have any suggestions as to how to eliminate this problem. I really wanted to get away with just a CL and the return from the sump so there is nothing in the display.

i just finished plumbing my 24x24x25 cube. i have a horizontal in the back that is 12in x4x5. you can drill a hole next to the hole for the durso for a return. so then you would have an extra bulkhead in the overflow and have loc line going up and over the overflow in the tank. that would be your only piping above the water. for the CL i have one intake in the middle of the tank below the overflow and two returns spilit with locline. i tried a few different pumps. forget about anything less than 1500gph. i went with a sequence snapper. new pump. 2400gph. low wattage, heat, and quiet. the inlet and outlet are large. i have them reduced .5in each which you can do on these pumps. so im probably running around 1500gph. but comparable pumps that are 1500pgh are expensive and the wattage goes way up.
