i am in the process of moving to a new home. i decided that i am going to combine all my tanks into 1 large tank. my 300g is now freshwater and all the stock is going to a friends tank.
the 300 is not drilled so im trying to decide how to plumb this thing. i was going to do the simple route and just use a hang on overflow but now im not sure. i think it might be a better route to add a 3000gph gl*******s overflow. then run about 1600gph though the sump and use my 2 seaswirls for the corner returns. i plan on using 2-mp40's and 2-mp10's for circulation but that might not be enoughtfor an 8' tank.
the sump is going to be 48"x24"x18" and im guessing a panworld 200 for a return pump(1790gph). i could go bigger and t off just incase id like to run addtional item off the pump like my uv.
suggestions welcome.
picture of the tank when i first set it up freshwater. plants were removed shortly after. didnt like them at all.
