30g reef tank

$200 OBO

I have a standard 30g glass tank with the following.

Corallife 192W PC fixture
HOB refugium W/skimmer MJ 1200 needle wheel
JEBO refugium light
3 MK 900 powerheads with wave timer.
It has a stand if you want it.
About 40 pounds of sand
3 or 4 volcanic rocks that have been in the tank for 9 months now.
A hand full of softies. mostly Zoa and paly.

Disclaimer:
It is dirty...
It is still running on the skimmer alone...
I get to keep the sand in the refugium...

The inhabitants of the tank were just removed today.

Ive heard that volcanic rock is a no no for reefs in closed systems due to the potential metals and minerals they contain, just a FYI.

I have assessed the risks and I have made a decision. An informed decision that I will stand by, at if the point comes where I find that my decision was a bad one I will post to that fact. Until then I have the right to keep my aquarium as I like. It seems that you find some morbid pleasure in bring up questionable decisions by reefers based solely on what you have heard. I for one find this exceedingly annoying, and wish you would stop. You have a well spring of valuable information on T5 lighting, in fact your feedback is why I am running T5s today. Would you kindly consider falling back on what you know and let the other crap go.

It seems that you find some morbid pleasure in bring up questionable decisions by reefers based solely on what you have heard

From the seat where I sit, I thought I was finding pleasure in sharing some warnings from other people that took the time to share their experiences with folks like me and you. Not all of us started the hobby at the same time, therefore valuable lessons are yet to be gained. Theres about 5-10 years worth of valuable lessons Ive missed out on, and am in the process of catch up myself as well as being open to current experiences and new technologies.

For you to think that I get some morbid pleasure out of anything on this board shows how little you know about me, so dont pretend to please. I have shared quite a few things with you John and have enjoyed including you on what I considered my own personal kick backs to the folks here in this club and locals alike and thats not just waving flags of trivial topics either, Ive given you coral, Ive included you in group buys, Ive been to your house, met the family, seen the tanks, INVITED YOU INTO MY OWN HOME, and now you insult me in public with out even giving me the courtesy of knowing your assumptions and misinterpretations of me or bothering to allow me to explain myself. Besides all of this, I did it to inform the person who gets that rock off you and thinks it's ok to start a reef with, and to let him know the public concerns and findings of such and let him or her make there own educated determination, or lack there of. It's a voice of consceintousness, but I wont even touch down on the topic of annoyance.
