30k for a skimmer?

Amazon's discounts are off at the moment. I placed an order yesterday for $197 and it said I saved over $250,000.
 
Sellers do that so their items appear when people search for items that are more than x% off listed price.

Lots of sellers do it. It's really stupid. Just makes it harder to search specifically for things that are heavily discounted :(
