310 move opinions

Starting to put the sand from the old tank to the new. Probably a week away for being up. Still need a sump.

My old tank had red planaria and it is now in my stock with the live stock and rock. My greatest fear is moving the planaria to the 310. My plan was to do a flat worm exit dip on the rock as it moves. Move the fish and then flat worm exit my stock tank system to kill everything in the stock tank and sump. Then move the sump stuff. Bad idea? Other ideas?

Second, stocking... The new tank is 7 foot by 3 foot (2 foot tall). I currently have an emperor angel, a harlequin tusk, an indicus trigger, purple tang (all of these decent sized), a smaller huma huma trigger and a flame angel. Would love to add another trigger and a couple other tangs. Really bad idea?

How positive are you that you dont have any disease in your system. If your 100% positive then i wouldn't worry to much, other than doing the flat worm (which is a good idea).

im moving from a 60 to a 210 currently so i know exactly what your doing. i took out the few rocks that have coral on them and put them in a holding tank along with my fish.

Then i decided to cure all the rock i have and all the other 200LB rock i got. Put in fresh water and dosing lanthanum chloride. (i personally would do an acid bath but its too cold out).

My goal is to have 100% disease free. i know my tank has nothing as i treat every fish incoming and all rock gets soaked in freshwater/bleach. i do get a couple of live pieces from a store where i'm 100% sure its been there for 78 days with no fish (ich free) to seed the tank.

Most of my fish are multiple years old. Last one in was quarantined in copper for more than a month and I am not sure it even needed it. Never had ich. Just the flat worms. They make me mental.

My tank stopped being a reef with the emperor angel. I have some lingering zoas in cracks or deeper holes. And nothing bothers my rbt anemones. I saved a few things and they live in my sump.
