320G South African Reef Tank

Hi all!

My name is Mark and I am from South Africa. I have been around a while but don't post much. Mostly follow A few of the beautiful tanks here on Reef Central. Thought you guys would like to see my little slice of Ocean???

Not nearly as nice as some of yours but i enjoy it and it keeps me busy

I believe the Atlantic blue tang is in quite a number of tanks in the USA> There aare not many here in South Africa as they don't ship well and most shops refuse to bring them in because of so many DOA's> I looked for 1 for over a year so I am very happy to have 1 )

Quite the tank, the big arch is pretty sweet, what are the tank dimensions? What's the gray/white and black striped fish in the first pic, a little behind and below the bird wrasse? Kinda looks like a Convict tang, but I don't think it is?

The Display is 2000 x 700 x 750 (Sorry not sure on feet and inches ). Sump is 1500 x 600 x 500.

The fish you speak of is in fact a Convict Tang. We have plenty in our local rock pools and super easy to catch

nice rabbitfish there and they all look super healthy!

Looking good man. Can you give us some specs on the setup. Why dont make waveboxes and use the Resun stream pumps you have, they rock.

Seems like there has been more posts by people in Africa. Your fish look really nice. I hope to have some of the same soon. Do you have any trouble with any of them? I have had really bad luck with tangs in the past.

The sailfin gets a bit bossy now and then but otherwise the fighting is minimal
