36 Gallon bow front stand and hood?

ok here is the deal. I just bought a used for only 2 weeks 36 gallon AGA bow front for $20 bucks ( im pretty happy about that). but im looking for a stand and im wondering if any one has any ideas of a place to get one with doors on the front so that I can get a sump under there. Also a hood for my MH light. I have done some looking but most that I have seen as book case style in the front and do not have any doors. Any help with the matter would be great. Thanks

Kinda hard to get a sump underneath the bowfront stands, especially the smaller ones. One thing you can do is order one custom sized to fit under there. Getting a functional size under a 36 might be hard though.

I upsized to a 46 because of that...I also ended up slicing my stand with a jigsaw in order to fit my sump under it and then reinforcing the stand with steel rods drilled into the side. Another option...I've also seen people remove the centre stands, slipping in the sump and then replacing the stands.

Khai the stand you ar talking about where did you get that one from? was it petco or petsmart?

AGA makes a pine stand that might just be roomy enough for a small sump (maybe an AGA 7 BF would fit well?). They also make a Geneva Series stand, but it's got too small of a cabinet for a sump...I know because I have it and I wish I could have another stand.

I picked it up from PetCo, it is an Oceanic 46g Bow...it was on sale though because they've stopped carrying them.
