360g aquarium on Craigslist

I was going to call, but then got sidetracked. That number is registered to
Indoor Oceans - Butler, PA 16001

I have never heard of it.

Did they say what the other aquarium equipment was for sale with the 360 (i.e. 240?)

I didn't ask.

Gotta say that such a significant reduction in the potential size really takes a lot of interest away from me, even though that particular tank is a size that I happen to like a lot. Did he seem pretty firm in his price expectations or was it a pretty short conversation?

It was a real quick conversation as I was working at the time. I am sure he will come down in prices especially since he over estimated the size by 50%.

That's a nice footprint IMO. I might have to call and see if I can knock the price down! : ) Was tempted to try a 240 from GC but I've been hearing too many stories...not good ones. Just seemed like a good plan because they are located close to my relatives in TN

Just as a starting point, I'd start off by telling him that a local fish store (Seahorse) just got done having a promotion where they sold that same tank brand new for $480 (it was $2 per gallon.) Seems like you should be able to knock it down the $300 range anyway with that if you made it seem like you weren't in a hurry to pick it up.

If he's been cleaning them that long, how could you make a mistake by 120 gallons. Seems weird. Not saying its not on the up and up, but that's a big mistake for someone well acquainted with fish tanks to make.
