38 gallon stocking list

I set up a 38 gallon tank about 35 days ago, I haven't been able to make up my mind on stocking... right now nitrates are less than 5 ppm, and ammonia is 0
I want the following fish but I haven't gotten any advice in order of addition.

currently:2 ocellaris clowns

want to add
1 firefish, next fish?
1 royal gramma
1 shrimp and goby pair
1 dwarf angel, I really like multi bars but I heard that they are hard to get to eat.
if not a dwarf angel, then a flame hawk,
I plan to have lots of hermits/snails, a skunk cleaner shrimp, and I really like pom pom crabs, and sometime wayyy down the line when things stabilize an anemone.
in what order should these fish be added?

Chromis is just another type of damsel, they will fight and pick each other off. How about a couple cardinal fish

I considered that but they don't have very vibrant colors or interesting movement Imo

How about a pair of bi-color dottybacks? They are definitely colorful.

Chromis is just another type of damsel, they will fight and pick each other off. How about a couple cardinal fish

Cardinals can be no better than damsels and chromis.

Dottybacks can get territorial. Plus u have 2 clowns and want a few other fish (royal gramma, goby, fire fish) which is a total of 5 in 38 gallons correct? If so I wouldn't add 2 dottybacks. 5 fish total at most depending on type in a 38 unless tiny fish, but that is just my opinion.

I might recommend Assessors over Dottybacks as they tolerate each other far better than most Dottybacks. I've got a Yellow and Randall's Assessor in my 30L and they're pretty good together.

If I were to go the Dottyback route, 1 would be best. I have a huge preference for Elongates since they stay relatively small.
