4 cardinals all dead

I bought 4 cardinals and they all died over the past 2 weeks.

None looked sick and I wonder if they starved to death? I was feeding what my clown and even shrimp eat which is this Ken's pellet food.

What do you feed your Bangaii?

Is the pellet food all you feed?
I would suggest feeding a more varied diet to all your fish including flake food, and a variety of frozen...i.e. brine shrimp, emerald entree, mysis shrimp, etc.

the pellet foos is suppose to be made of brine? The clown loves as does my angel in another tank.

Brine shrimp in any form should not be the sole diet for any fish. I feed brine (with omega 3) only as a supplement, and only maybe once a week. Fish really need a varied diet as brine shrimp have no nutritional value.

did you add all of them at the same time? that may be to many at once.. and how did you aclimate?

Wild caught or tank raised? Wild caught Bangaii have a big mortality rate.

May want to ask you LFS what they are feeding the fish when you buy them, and it dose not hurt to ask the person to feed them for you so you can see that thay are eating.
