4' MP40 Percentage

Good evening!

Just had a quick question. I have two MP40's mounted on either end in a 48x24x16, currently set on ESL at 50% as they move through Reef/Tidal/Laggon/Constant. I'm a little curious, do you think this is too much flow for the tank? I'm a little worried it might be, especially in Tidal Swell.

If so, any recommendations on what 40% to run two 40's in a 4'?

PS: This will be an LPS only tank.

I would recommend keeping an eye on your corals. They will tell you how much flow is to much flow.

I have a 48x24x12 frag tank, and I have two MP40s on reef crest going as high as 70% during the day. My corals love it.

I have a 120 gal 4x2x2 with 2 MP40s. I have LPS with a few SPS. Initially they were beating the heck out of my Euphyllia so I lowered them down to 30%. The corals have slowly adjusted to higher levels and I run Lagoon at 40% for most of the time and will push that up to 50%. I also run Nutrient at 80% and reef crest at 70% a few times a day and they do fine.
