4 or 6 t5 lights over 40 gallon for SPS?

Would 4 Tek T5 lights be enough over a 40 gallon breeder tank (16 inches tall, or is it 18, 16 I think) for SPS? Would I have to upgrade to the 6?

4 is more than enough already.
i have 8 over 32" wide tank about 17" from the light, 8" off the water. they fried almost every sps i have. i have to take 4 out and replace that with MH...

I wish I would asked a similar question before I bought my fixture because now I want a couple more bulbs to add another 1 or 2 actinics. I currently have a 1:1 ratio of aquablues to blue+ and I think it gives a really white look.

I am not really keen on the blue look actually, does it matter to the corals?
