40 gal breeder skimmer

whats a good in-sump skimmer for a 40 gal breeder. My sump will be a 10 gal deep sand, macro algae with mangroves. I am looking on a budget of $100.00. Also do I really need one with macros and mangroves?

A Remora/Urchin Pro might do the trick, search the equipment buy/sell forum

I'd look for something used, $100 won't get much. maybe an AquaC unit. mangroves and macros don't perform the same function as a skimmer, personally I much prefer using mechanical filtration over biological.

You also may look at the Red Sea Berlin skimmers you may find it cheaper than the Urchin/Remora Pro units
