I have two Ice Cap 400 watt ballasts with spider MH fixtures that do not stay on. This has been going on for a few years. They'll come on for 15 minutes and then go off for a while. I thought it was the bulbs and have changed them a half dozen times. I sent one of the ballasts back to ice cap for a check uu and it's fine.
has this ever happened to anyone before? I tied the ballast directly into a 20 amp circuit and it still does it. I thought maybe it was the switch or the timer.
