Hello I thought I remember a thread where someone was trying to get rid of a 400w se mh eballast.. I tried to search for it but couldn't find it.. Does anyone recall the thread? I'm shopping for one right now...

Upgrade?? I might go back to 250W. I love 400W radium but it's too much for my little 50G tank. How tall is your tank?

Not tall enough.. 20" I'm thinking about trying out a 10k reeflux first.. The 20k xm is really nice but just doesn't seem to have the output of the 10k bulbs... My tank is 50 something..

What bulbs will the standard fire? I was hoping to use an xm 20,000k.. Will the standard work? Or will I need an hqi or E ballast?

it's will fire the xm no problem

If not then I know of a NVR reefer with a 400w PFO that he is looking to sell/trade, but orientalexpress is alot closer .
