410 mile road trip for an empty shell!!!!

Today i drove to Cordova to Kermits Reef. I was going to pick up an octopus. Dave said he was in the snail shell and you can barely see his eye peering out at you. If you have not made this road trip...DO IT!!! Kermits Reef is awesome!! They have a great selection and the staff is very nice and knowledgable. I could have spent a fortune in there. Thanks to everyone there and it was great to put faces to names. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!! WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!

thats awsome congrats. An octo would be sooo coool, but I know so little about them. What are they even closely related to? I assume they are classified as inverts. Do they get ick? What do you feed them and how?

they are inverts cephalopods(head-foot) he is eating hermit crabs they will eat fish crabs shrimp

Octos are pretty cool and are REALLY SMART. its a shame they only have a life span of a year or 2 though
