46 reef lighting

Hey I was wondering if 500 watts was too much for a 46 reef. I have been looking for new lighting and I found this set of halides. I keep sps and softies on the bottom. Any imput is great.

500 isn't too much. I'd do 20,000k bulbs this thread would probably better suited in the "Equipment and Lighting" section

I run a 45 gallon SPS (36"x18"x18") tank with 2 each 250 watt halides on it. I personally like the hamilton 14K bulbs but thats just my preference.
