Wow Aaron....great looking stand and the finished product, including the fish and coral is a killer combination. Glad to see that it all worked out.
I am currenlty trying to find some plans to build a stand for my 55 gallon and wanted to know if you came up with the design for the stand yourself or if you found these plans online somewhere? I really like the overall frame design of your stand and wanted to get started with something like that. Let me know if you got these online, etc. Thanks in advance and again, great end product.

Adam- Thank you for the compliments.
I just started building it like a boxed frame and added some reinforcements along the way, so it was pretty much a build as you go project. Turned out to be more than enough support as this frame would survive a tornado. I think if I had to do it all over again I would make a three door facia for the fact that center accessibilty is key with the sump and skimmer. I think if you follow the 2x4 approach with the triple corner support would be a bit much for a 55 gallon, but its piece of mind thats for sure!
