46g Bowfront Stocking

Im thinking of setting up a 46g FOWLR, i would like a maroon clown and some sort of eel. what other types of fish would you suggest? What eel would be best suited for my tank?

I would do some sort of dwarf angel or lionfish.
Its your choice.
Just go look around your LFS and see what you like. Its a whole different thing looking at a fish on the internet or in pictures than seeing the fish in person.

really a 46 is too small for any of the eels. you can squeeze a snowflake in there for a while, but it will eventually need a bigger home.

You cannot house ANY eel in a 46.. How about a Hawkfish? Arc eyes are cool [need to be added last]

What about a Lion, Scorpion, Frogfish tank?

leaffish or scorpionfish would be cool. problem is that with frogs and scorpions you have to have a species only tank as they will try to eat everyone else.

I currently have a 46BF and i have housed a white eye moray successfully for a long time w\o any problems other than missing shrimp, which i expected to happen. Also dwarf morays could go in a 46, if you can afford them!!!

are you honestly constricted to a 46? are you commited to a fowler, because i have a 46 reef with limited equipment, pc lighting, and my results are awesome! JK about the commitment part, although i would love a snowflake, but he would eat everthing i already have in my tank. you could go a juvi snowflake for a while, but you would eventually have to get a larger tank, you could go lionfish, although they also would get very big very fast, and outgrow your tank also. i think i see an upgrade in the near future!! lol

you can get dwarf golen morays so your not constricted to eels

the dwarf morays would do good in there they arent fish eaters unless you put small gobys in the tank and are very nice with ice blue eyes.

i would go for a golden dwarf

Scorpions would do fine with lionfish, but a frogfish that gets too big will probably eat the lion or scorpion. If you have a frogfish in there make sure it is a kind that doesn't get too big and get bigger lions and scorpions.

Could you please suggest specific species of these fish? Also, do scorpions require live food , or can they be fed chopped fish exc.
