If you price out actual name brand "Starboard" you will see. A 4x8 would be hundreds of dollars.
I would just use the HDPE cutting board from Mcmasters

Starboard & Seaboard aren't *that* expensive
The difference between the two above and regular HDPE is that regular HDPE is not UV stabilized and regular HDPE doesn't come in sandshade and some other nifty colors. I have not seen Starboard in anything thinner than 1/2" while Seaboard comes in 1/4" as well and is cheaper. Call your local plastics distributor and ask if they carry Compression Polymers materials (makers of Seaboard). If so, go down and take a look at some color chips and see which one you like, & get 'em to order the Seaboard in with their next shipment. IIRC the sheets are 52 x 92" or close to it. If you just want white HDPE, call your local plastics place for that as well, the prices above seem pretty steep for the base material.
