I just got my first fish wed night. I got a tiny orange occ, clownfish and a black and white larger one. If the same species.

I am doing the tank transfer method and just did the first transfer this morning.

The orange one spends a lot of time in the bottom corner and lately the b&w one spends more and more time at the top(never out of the water). A lot of time by the bubbles. I'm not a fish expert, but he appears to maybe be breathing rapidly.

The orange one finally ate a few pellets yesterday and I have yet to see the b&w eat.

Are they sick? How can I treat them? I can't feed them shrimp or clams bc I'm allergic.

I have prazi pro should I try that?

Tank transfer will eliminate ich from the equation. Were these fish acquired from a source which runs copper in their system?

have you done a ammonia test? make sure that its zero.
If its spending more time in the bubbles or at the surface you might be dealing with flukes. did you notice any white stringy poop or head shaking or other symptoms?
I treat all new fish with at least two rounds of prazipro to make sure that they are fluke/worm free.

no stringy poop, he will bug out every once in a while and swim away for a second and then return to the surface. still has yet to eat and its now day 5. he doesnt even look at or react to the food.
