this might be your opportunity to get an awesome sized aquarium at an incredible price.
$1,000 obo - for the tank, stand, and oak facade
location- Melrose Park, Illinois
this aquarium is now in a factory building, the company is moving. tank must go.
the aquarium is empty. it just needs to be moved down the hall to the loading docks and loaded onto your truck(s)
you will be doing all the moving so you will need a group of guys and some dollys.
The aquarium sides are all 1". top and bottom are 3/4. i believe it to be a Midwest Custom Aquarium about 8 yrs old. it is heavy, i don't know exactly how heavy though.
the stand is all 2" heavy angle iron fabricated at a steel fabrication shop. it is very robust. but its not as heavy as the aquarium
there are two small cracks on the top flange. The fractures happened when the cooling system failed on the Metal Halide fixtures and made the top too hot (classic). one has been supported with 3/4" acrylic sandwiched above and below the break, the other small fracture should be very easily supported. i have pictures of the areas in question. also have pictures of the aquarium and stand.
the location is in Melrose park, Illinois
again, this is at a factory so there are loading docks and parking bays, no stairs involved with moving the aquarium to the docks.
there are a couple scratches on the inside and one on the outside. there is some coralline buildup on the back pane.
There is also an Oak facade that has hinged access panels for above and below the tank.
if you are interested or have questions, email or call or txt me. i can send you pics of everything
