Hey guys i will be setting up a large 500 gallon tank soon it is 5 feet long 5 feet wide and 30 inches tall.
The main fish i want to keep is Queen angel what other fish can i keep with the Queen in this tank. I know queens are netoriously aggresive so what can hold it's own with out eating my inverts?
Snails, urchins, star fish hermit crabs etc?

This is second knowledge so dont hold it against me, My friend who has one reckons its only agressive to what it sees as a threat. Eg other angels. anything passive should be fine other than the odd chase but thats to be expected in aquariums where space is limited.

Sorry no experiance with larger angels . SO no recomedations from me . Maybe a semi aggresive trigger . Yea thats me always triggers triggers triggers what can I say I love the little guys .

Thanks for the help guys. Anyone else got any first hand knowledge i remember there was guy who had a large reef/ fish tank with angels and tang gallor can't find the old post thought.

mitzel i love triggers to they are so nice. I have a baby undulated that i love to death he is about 3 inches now and loves to eat everything except his origianl tank mate which is just one killer blue devil. He eats snails and every one loves to hear them go CRUNCH!!! those jaws samll but powerful.

YEa I got a new undulated last week about 3 " and it might have to go back to the store . the yellow tang has picked and licked untill it picked back and took a nice big nip out of the yellows tail. But he gets along with the others good so maybe the yellow needs to go bye bye.

i think your talking about HDTV guy, who has a 300 gallon with 5 large angels, 8 tangs, and a clown trigger. (at least thats the numbers i recall).

im sure you have heard before, but undulates become much more belligerant and aggressive with age. if you have anything you really care about in that tank, then i would take the undulated out. they almost always kill anything they think they can kill.

hum well my undulated is in a dedicated tank i may try to mix him with other large triggers when he gets larger if not i don't mind he is agreat fish and i like him enough to keep him alone.
