5017 Pump

I woke up this morning to my ATO alarm going off......apparently the pump has failed (been great for 3 years now)

I will be ordering a replacement today.....but being as it will take a few 4-5 days to get it, I wanted to know if there was a way to open this pump and see if I can't get the impeller to spin again..just kind of limp it threw till the new one gets here.

I twisted the bottom section of the pump with everything I had and it wouldn't budge....is it glued on?

Hi Chris, that pump is fully sealed. You might look in from the bottom to see if some sand got stuck inside, but based on the age, there's a good chance replacing it will be the only option.
