Jack, you still have not upgraded to a larger tank yet? Did you manage to squeeze more fish into the tank you have now lol?

My tank is busting at the seams with livestock/ I have been so busy with other stuff/ I think a 120 ia a more modest upgrade and it will fit where my tank is now.

That tank is sweet. I may actually look at the Oceanic 140 gallon as well. I really need to figure out my sump situation, because I really want to get my chiller and calc reactor inside the stand. My wife would appreciate that as well. Is 20 gallons too small a sump for either 120 or 140 gals ??

I bought the 140 and it has a brace across the top 12.5 inches
wide. It is glass but gets covered with salt. You have to clean it constantly. It blocks a lot of light. I would have purchase a
All glass or perfecto if I would of known about the brace.
If you want to see what the 140 looks like let me know.
I live in limerick and I am on vacation this week.
The tech series is euro braced but only 120.
The sump may be enough I will have to do some calculations.
A 20 gallon can get very crowded when you add a protein skimmer
... I will post later on the calculations.

The dimensions of my sump are 16h X 20W X 24L
I need 5" of height to clear the protein skimmer pump.
When the power is lost the backflow from the tank
increase the height by 6 inches. This varies by your
setup. I would need at least 3 inches to get below
the overflow in the tank. It will take a while to convert the
volume to gallons. I will post when I have

Thanks. If anyone esle is interested my tank and stand is a beautiful turn key system for someone. Stand is custom made cherry and the tank is in perfect condition. I will even through in some live sand and algae for the sump / refugium !
