I have a 72" fish tank. It's a 125g. Can I use a 6 ft light. Will I have dark spots on the corners. I want to get a fixture that's all in one. With fans ect. Please let me know if u have used a shorter light then the size of the tank.
Absolutely works. The ends won't be as well lit, but quite a few cnidarians will prefer that. Very common in Europe to have a fixture one "size" smaller than the tank.
I was going to go with a 72" mh. It has 3 150w lights. I have a center brace on my tank. The middle
Light falls right in the same place that the brace is. So that's why I wanted to get either 2 pendants or 60" fixture that has 2 lights instead of 3
