6 ft tanks

Im about to move and going back and forth with myself on if 2 x 250MH vs 3 must go on.
Can some one give me some insight on if wether or not 2 can work and some pics?

My friends tank is 6X2X2 anh he shifted from 3 250 to 2 400 and is much much happyer with the result

I have 3 250 w radium on my 150 6 foot tank. There is not way I could get away with just 2 MH.

This is a pic of the tank just after the lights came on and the tank is new but will give you and idea of what 3 look like.

i currently have 3 myself now but i was hoping to be able to center both mhs over the center braces but i see now im not going to be able too.

the strongest light come from directly under the bulb. so putting a mh over a brace kinda defeats the purpose of the halide.

i was going to have two 250w over my 6x2x2 so had the standard bracing, didnt like it, so cut the centre brace out and replaced with two thinner and spaced for three lights

Well, I have four 250W Lumenarc Mini's over my 6ft 135g tank, so you know where I stand.
