Dose any body have any expierience with the 6 Gallon nano cubes i was just wondering what kind of filtration is built into them and what kind of corals i can keep in there whit 3watts per gallon. also are there any skimmers that will fit in it, or can i just get away with frequent water changes?

Sorry I can't help I have a 5.5 gal. that I just started & I was wondering the same thing about what kind of corals I can put in it.

hey guys,
well..i belive the filtration in the 6g nano cube is a 3-stage filtration system. Mechanical, Biological & Chemical. As far as the corals with 3 watts per gallon you could definietly get away with some shrooms, polyps, zoos and some other soft corals. Stay away from Acropora as they need at least 5 watts per gallon (very high light). Check out the 6g nano cube and features here: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produ...nner-_-Reef_Central-_-Nano_Cube_Offer-_-03_06
Drsfostersmith.com has them very cheap :)
As far as the corals, you can check here for some really good nano coral packages that liveaquaria.com sells for a low price: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=2033
As far as getting a skimmer for a 6g, honestly you really don't need one. As long as you do frequent water changes and make sure your water parameters are stable, youll be fine :)
Good Luck!
