Has anyone been to the Epcot Living Seas in Disneyworld. we are planning a vaca in Sep. and I'm at least going to check it out. I may pay the $150 and do the dive.

yes

yes

that whole disney epcot thing is awesome!! you have to be impressed with it. i recomend eating at the living seas resturant. You can sit right next to a tank and have a great dinner.... oh yeah its a whole wall like you are underwater.. Awesome. I'd love to take my family there!! Maybe when the little bit gets a few years on her..

I've been there, its cool. The Living Seas was always one of my favorite Epcot attractions as a kid. My mom is a huge Disney fan, so we've gone there on vacation many times.

It looks like they've renovated it since last time I was there so that it now includes a "Finding Nemo"-theme to it. Though the tank is likely the same as its been for the past 30 years.

I didn't even know it was there the last 2 times that I went to Disney. I could kick myself now...(OW) I can't wait to see it in Sep. We are going on a disney cruies after a couple days at the resort.

Hang a right past Spaceship Earth, its to the right of The Land . . . I could be a tour guide down there!

i saw a show about it on the discovery channel, its been completely overhauled and probably looks nothing like ya'll remember, and i remember it being in the past.

its turned into a "ride", so you can't walk down the hallways anymore. they darken the tank so much you can't really see the fish in there or stop to look at anthing, and they project images of nemo and friends on the glass, which kinda reminds me of how the haunted house ride works.

no clue about the restaraunt, but i imagined that has also been overhauled with the nemo theme.

There's always been a ride portion to the Living Seas. In the beginning you'd watch a brief (~1min) video before entering the sea lab and "descending" down the elevator under the sea. A short ride in 1980's futuristic open car things, you'd travel through a portion of the aquarium and then emerge in the "walk around as you please" area of the aquarium.

When I was there two years ago they were renovating it, but you could still walk in through the exit and still see the big aquarium (it's always been dark). I think one or two small tanks contain live coral (as well as most of the fish from Nemo). They got a few manatees up in that piece.

With a tank that big, you can't renovate it without tearing down and rebuilding everything.

Epcot is cool b/c they serve alcohol there!

The restaurant is good seafood, you should get reservations early in the day before it fills up.

oh wow, i don't remember the ride back when i went last time (12 years ago i think).

i really want to go back now that i'm over 21. i hear pleasure island is pretty cool.

It might seem cool if you're under 21

It's weak.

(long story coming) I went to Pleasure Island when I was 22. Had fun drinking and dancing. There was this one girl one night hanging out with a couple. We made eye contact, adn the girl in the couple pushed her to me. So we are dancing, grinding, I have my hands all over her butt. So we start talking, she asks what school I go to. I tell her I'm in the Army down for some R&R. She goes, How old are you, I say 22, she says oh God. I ask how old she is...15!!! My hand imediatly head 1/2 way up her back. I ask how she got into the club, she say those are my parents over there (the couple who are now laughing their heads off) It turns out Sundy is family night and any age can get in with their parents.

The song ends, I immediatly pop smoke and get out of there. Grab my friends and we head to another club.
