6' tank for angelfish.

I'm debating on what size of tank or tanks in my new house. Either a 10'x4'x30" or two 6'x4'x30" tanks.

My big issue is coral and fish compatibility and the 2 tanks solve that issue. I don't know if the 6' 400 gallon tank is big enough for a few angels. I'm thinking a queen angel and emperor angel regal angel and possibly one more.

Why not do the 2 6 ft an bridge them with an acrylic or glass tube so fish can swim back and forth between the two and then u only need one sump.

I would say no. Both of those fish can get huge (15 and 18 inches) but also could get very aggressive if they are too close to eachother at all times

Based on my experience, you could for sure fit all three of those angels in just one of the 6' tank, which is 450G. They are from different sub-species of the large angel family. In fact, you can fit a few more large angels in there if the sequence of introduction is done right. Queen and emperor would go in last.

Can you squeeze in a 10 x 6 x 30? You could divide the tank lengthwise with optiwhite glass and have the effect of the angels swimming in the reef... you'd need to view and access both sides of course..

The reason im considering doing 2 tanks is so that I can have LPS and Zoanthids in one tank and Angels in another. combining them is no different than one big tank....

I like the idea, but cleaning that center piece of glass on a tank this size would be impossible. I would have to go swimming every time. Cool idea though.

8x4x3 would be a good size. 10 feet would be better, but eight feet would do

My 8' tank (240 gallons) was getting small for my pair of emps. I removed them because they were beginning to look cramped and were getting more aggressive.
