Ok, it looks like I do have a 6000 instead of a 6100 after looking at the transformer instead of what it says on the pump.
I guess the problem might be my 5 inch sandbed which causes my rock to be higher than in a lot of tanks. If i point the tunze flow over the rock the stream pretty much directly hits the acropora which last time I tried that was the shearing of the flesh off the skeleton. I could try mounting it on the back wall and point it at the front wall along the side of the tank but I think that is just going to result with a deep sand depression there.
I think I might be stuck just putting it halfway down the side of the tank on lowest flow and aim it at a rock again.
