6500K Iwaski (spelling)

Im making 2 250 watt Mh set up but i have to use the 6500K iwaski bulbs. Will with support clams? my tank is a 90 gallon.

6500k to 10k is just what clams need. the higher the k rating the blue'r the light. clams dont like really blue light. ur good to go.

thanks. the DIY MH im making will only run the 6500K. It will only cost me about $100

I have a clam under that exact setup - 250W 6500K bulb. He has grown and thrived for 2 years there.
