7 armed root-like invert.

There are 2-3 of these small inverts on only this one rock. There are 7 white arms that look almost like plant roots, but each arm is pulled in to the center every now and then as if it's catching food and eating. They change locations, but never change rocks. Is this some kind of starfish?

im fairly sure they are starfish, i believe from your description i have the same exact things in my tank and i havent had a problem with them for 9 months.

How long are the arms? Could be something like a medusa or spaghetti worm.

hard to say for sure, but it sounds like a spaghetti worm.
