70W HQI over a prop tank

I got a ridicolous deal on a 70w Current Sunpod. It has a brand new 14K current bulb. Will they be okay over my 20x20x12 frag tank with mostly SPS corals if I place them near the top of the 12" of water?

I have kept a few species under 70watt HQIs before with success but not the great coloration you would get from a higher wattage bulb. I have switched from 70w to 150w over my small tank for this reason.

I have a 70 watt 10k on a small nano of mine and the growth is unbelievably slow. For what it's worth. The frags may live but don't expect much growth. Mine are about 8 inches from the actual bulb. It's a small tank.

they should live but the color wont get too great. i have a 12 gallon nano with a 150 watt light the cirrent one u r describing just the 150 watt version and the grwoth is crazy.

150watt halide no other lighting the corals have been under this light at full strength for about a week now showing much better coloration and growth.

Sorry for the poor picture quality this camera that I am using is all that I have for now and I have recently just droped it. About 15 times on pupose.

This tank has NO skimmer, NO water changes in the last 2 months and all I filter it by is carbon and purigen.
