Hopefully someone is looking for a new rimless tank, this is a great tank and served me very well. Its a beast, made with 1/2" glass with bottom eurobrace.

The stand is higher then normal ( I think 36") with plenty of room for your skimmer. The stand needs a new coat of paint, in fact I'd repaint both.

Side Cabinet has 6 doors to access every inch of space. Will include the black acrylic cover with dual 120mm Fans for cooling.

All cleaned out and read for pick up in Norwalk.

I can also include the dual 250mh & 4 54 watt T5 fixture you see for $750 (two Ushio 10K 250s included - no T5 bulbs), but only if you take the package.

Original build thread in the CTARS forum in 2009.

For anyone that has not seen Joe's tank and stand, I'll vouch for the fact that it is one seriously nice looking setup. The whole side cabinet makes for outstanding three sided viewing. Great condition too. I'd buy it myself if I could.

This is very tempting. What are the over all dimensions of the stand and cabinet? Does the plumbing come with it? How bad are the scratches on the back side, is it something that you notice right away or are they hard to notice? Thanks

I'l measure the overall dims tonight. The stand is about 48" with a 1" lip all around. I'll measure the side cabinet, but I think that is 15" wide and maybe 20-21" inches deep.

The scratches on the back are there, but you need to look for them, If you are at normal viewing distance and looking at the tank inhabitants - you won't notice them. I probably notice them, because I'm the one who made them. The front (starfire) and side are perfect.

The plumbing does not come with it, but I can help you re plumb it, its pretty easy. It has a glass holes overflow.

This is the glass holes kit. (Overflow and drain) and the 3/4" return kit.

Breaking down iphone pic, you can see the backside which has a single removable panel, so you can work on it without worrying about doors.

Also the upper front door on the cabinet has a cutout for a Reefkeeper elite.

Am I asking too much here? Would like to sell it to a local RC'er. Two more days and then I'll post on CL.

Been so busy - forgot to list on CL - Still available - reduced to $550 - in the hope that someone can use a nice upgrade or downgrade.

Joe,

Thanks for your reply. I couldn't PM you. Apparently I can only send messages to the RC moderator until I have more posts. Still interested in your set-up, however I will not be down your way again until next month. May I keep your info and try you then? Thanks a lot.

Still available and I need this out of my garage. Tank / Stand (& side cabinet if you want) - First $350 takes it. PM is the key.

Yes it is still available - includes the tank, stand, side cabinet if you want it, glass-holes 700gph overflow and 20 long sump with baffles.
