Ok, all the zoas aren't back yet, but the addition of one Peppermint shrimp on Thursday has SEVERAL starting to open back up. I'm afraid I may have lost my largest colony though. So I'm not adding any more softies for 2-3 weeks. I added a second Peppermint today once the first was settled in a territory. They both WILL take mysis, should there not be anything else in the rocks for them, and have done so in the store and at home. Of course I'm keeping it from them right now, and letting them search the rocks.

A FTS, labeled because I was posting on my GH board and haven't edited the pics well enough to post otherwise.

Mrs. Nemo. Her man, Mr. Nemo is doing sooo well with the garlic treatment. He just wasn't cooperating for a picture. And of course none of the shrimp where, but that's no surprise.

I moved these two shrooms from Sanford (the other is on the back, and they were POed to say the least. I thought I was going to lose them. They had tripled in size before I moved them. Why did I move them, then you ask? Because I accidently knocked them over. Well, as you can see they're starting to forgive me.

Thanks for looking and for putting up with all of my often inane newbie questions and being so supportive. You guys really are the best.

Looks good. I would get rid of the mag float. aka glass scratcher 1 lil piece of sand in it and......

Yea, I know, already got a scratch. Should I stick with razor blades, I've used my razor blade scrapers and they actually get in more places.

I got a small plastic scraper from Kermit's. $0.99 I use it to get the coraline and hard algae then go back over it with a blue scrub pad. I have one long scratch from a mag float before I figured out what they can do.

Any LPS or SPS coral suggestions? I'm getting the diver's den updates from Live Aquaria and always checking locally. I'm in the mood for another coral or two soon. That also includes if anyone here has a good frag, that would work nicely. The brain is becoming a favorite as it does eat a mysis direct fed. NEATO! and the color is spectular especially under the Actentics.

Also, should I be thinking about cheato in one of the back compartments? We're about a little over three months with water, rock and sand. A month into that, the snails and hermits were added.

I am sad to report that my sexy shrimp departed this world today. The peppermint shrimp are doing quite well, staying peaceful towards each other, and don't SEEM to be eating anything they shouldn't.

I'm amazed at how I keep learning, every single day. It may seem like an in-signficant tidbit to someone else, but to men it's another gem to store away.

I have learned that I've been keeping lights on too long so am workin on cutting that back. Too much growing on the rock.

Also, rather than regular updates here, I've be keeping them in my blog/live journal at http:\\greyhoundtrish.livejournal.com .

Chaeto in the back is a good idea in my opinion. I have some in the rear chamber of my nano. In a bio cube I would think the best place would be chamber 1. In my experience you want to keep the chaeto AWAY from the return pump. (dont ask LOL) It just so happens I am finishing the 2nd of my DIY nano fuge lights. If I can find a camera somewhere I will post pics. No SPS!!!

So the Frogspawn is a freak exception? Will take your cheato advice once tank is "rescued". I have a broken heart scanning this thread and seeing this pics.
